Kyle led the water and agriculture program for nearly nine years at TWT partner organization, The Nature Conservancy-Texas, where he worked to advance strategies to address water scarcity.

Kyle spent the past 15 years of his career working on water resources in Texas with research and field experience in a variety of topics, including water markets and environmental water transactions. Kyle’s track record includes proven projection conceptualization and implementation, a strong working knowledge of the community of practice and networks, familiarity and success in cultivating relationships with partners and supporters, and a sterling reputation for clear-eyed thinking, integrity, and can-do attitude.

Throughout his career, Kyle has accumulated technical experience in instream flow science, economics, hydrologic monitoring and data analysis, and has been involved in various stakeholder-driven initiatives to improve water resource management across Texas.

Kyle earned his Bachelor of Science from Humboldt State University and Master of Applied Geography from Texas State University.
